where can i get detailled analysis of drift diffusion simulation for MuGFET tool other than FTUG?

In addition to First Time User Guide for MuGFET, where can i get the relevant material for understanding the physics (drift diffusion simulation) involved in the MuGFET tool. I am interested in detailed understanding the numerical method involved in the drift diffusion modeling of MuGFET tool.
