will this help me to get light-nanoparticle interaction analysis of patterned tri-layers of gold-alumina-gold? (metamaterials))

i want to guess the range in which i will observe negative refractive index, if i draw some arbitrary pattern. for which knowing the eletric field interaction of light with nano particles will help. Will this tool be able to help me do that.?
