Warinings

Dear Admins, When I run a simulation with nanowire with hot carrier configuration and assuming built in structure with the following model details: 1) Solve Energy balance —> Yes 2) Carrier Statistics —> Boltzmann

Pls note that I turn off all the mobility related models and hence I use just a constant mobility.

I get two warning as follows 1) Old vsat param used, vsat model set to constant! 53 2) 600 doped semiconductor nodes disconnected from electrodes.

what exactly do they signify? does it means that the results are invalid?

Thanks and Regards, Oves

They mean exactly as stated, but it does not negate the validity of the simulation.

Thanks for a prompt reply Just confirming… I I switch off all the mobility related models then it is as if I am using constant mobility.

If you switch off nonlinear drift velocity-field model, your results might not be physical, since your electron velocity does not saturate.
