regarding validations of the answers….

hi, I m working on oof2.. it is working fine..i want to validate the results with simple exaples.. i made a image of plate with hole of unit thickness & cantilever beam & i applied bc… the results are not matching with the classical solution.. even i tried with ANSYS & ABAQUS WITH same dimensions & bc.. please help me to carry out my further work….

    You are probably not comparing the two models for the same conditions. OOF looks at plane-stress and plane-strain simulations. If the bending of your beam is a 3D configuration, OOF2 will not catch it.
