PNP Transistor in Active mode

I want to simulate it in active mode (PN junction forward biased and NP reverse)also I would like to see the minority carrier concentration in the base under off, active and saturation mode.

Is it possible that I can get help on one derivation which is related to PNP transistor. Is it valid to say current gain beta=minority carrier lifetime/transit time?

thanks in advance
