Multiple objects

  1. When you have multiple structure and you want to assign them different materials in DDASCAT, the last part of the work flow. You can only see. Component 1, component 2 and so on, I wont be able to know which material was assigned to which structure. I highly suggest the tool can keep the name from blender, so I can assign material to desired structure.

    Hi Hangyang,

This is a great suggestion, but unfortunately we cannot implement dynamic naming using the somewhat rigid GUI language ("Rappture") that we have to use for tools on Nanohub.

Also, notice that if you look at the 3D rendering in DDAConvert the Intensity value will color the different shapes according to what number they are. These numbers correspond to the same order that is being referenced in the actual DDSCAT tool when asking for shape materials.

Thanks for taking the time to write to us!
