smaller barrier heights required
I would like to be able to compare the periodic potential results against the peicewise constant potential model. However, currently the smallest barrier height in the step potential is set to 1eV. Can that get lowered?
Also it would be nice to have presets on the various effective masses in semiconductors, like it is done in the piecewise-constant potential lab or quantum dot lab

Hi, hanks for using the nanoHUB. I have forwarded your requests to the tool maintainers. Please check this answer space for updates when the changes are implemented.

Hello ecent modifications have been done to the tool to allow for lower barrier height in case of square well. Also predefined masses for different materials have been added to the tool.
Thanks
