nonperiodic series of wells

Is there a tool somewhere available to compute the bandstructure arising from a nonperiodic series of wells? If not, could the source code of this tool be easily modified to do so?

    There is the tool entitled: Piece-Wise Constant Potential Barriers Tool http://www.nanohub.org/tools/pcpbt it computes transmission and the reflection coefficient of a five, seven, nine, eleven and 2n-segment piece-wise constant potential energy profile.

    The formation of bandstructure with an increasing number of barriers can be seen at: http://cobweb.ecn.purdue.edu/~gekco/nanoHUB/bandstructure.html

    Within that tool a non-periodic series of barriers and wells can be simulated.
