How to obtain stress-strain curve

Hello,

Is it possible to obtain a stress-strain curve for a polymer with your tool? I would like to measure Young's Modulus of your polymers.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi, thanks for your interest in this tool.  The tool does not calculate stress-strain curves automatically.  You will need to write a script to process the output log; LAMMPS writes the stress tensor components and the box dimensions at every output step.  We are developing a new tool called PolymerExplorer that does this calculation automatically; it should be simpler to use than PolymerModeler.  The new tool is not yet published; we hope to release it by the end of May.  Sorry we can't help right now.

Hi Benjamin, thank you for your response. I noticed that your tool under the driver tab has the ability to apply a strain rate rate. Do you believe I could use this to create a stress-strain relationship? Or do you have any better suggestion to apply an appropriate force then study the stress-strain relation?

      Thank you,

      Paul

In the present paper, an approach to acquire a precise pressure strain bend of a malleable material under vast plastic twisting incorporate necking by following the trial tractable stacking hub relocation bend utilizing PC reenactment is recommended.
