This simulator is fantastic.
May I ask how to define the gold parameter in Meep ?

The FDTD code MEEP takes a material model input as a set of Lorentzian susceptibilities. Conceptually, these correspond to individual damped harmonic resonances in the material. These produce material “polarizabilities,” as they are called in the MEEP references. The best way to obtain a model matching experimental data for the complex dielectric function is to use non-linear curve-fitting. Our models for gold are fit to the data of Johnson and Christy ’77. We’ve obtained models for a variety of materials that can be used in MEEP using this method.
