Schrodinger Solvers for NonlinearPoisson

  1. Sapan Agarwal

Which Schrodinger jobs are required for the NonlinearPoisson simulation? For example, if I am trying to simulate a PN junction, I think I would need passivate_H, electron_density and hole_density. Would I also need derivative_electron_density_over_potential and derivative_hole_density_over_potential? If so, why?

    Thank you, Sapan

Hi, yes you need to define derivative_electron_density_over_potential and derivative_hole_density_over_potential because the Poisson solver needs it for the nonlinear Newton-like solver
