    Abhijeet Paul is a Device Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES USA, located at Albany. He is currently working on the device analysis, electrical characterization, modeling, TCAD and electrical targetting for FETs at 14nm and 10nm technology nodes. He graduated with a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 2011. His PhD work included simulation and modeling of electronic/phononic band structure structure and quantum transport of electrons and phonons in scaled semiconductor devices. He has developed about 10 simulation tools on nanohub.org. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India in 2006. He also received his Masters degree in micro-electronics from IIT Bombay, India. His master’s thesis was on the development of a simulator to investigate program, erase and retention characteristics in SONOS flash memories.
