Amit Sabne works as a software engineer in the Visual Studio C/C++ compiler team at Microsoft. Earlier, he earned a PhD degree in Computer Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelors in Electronics and Instrumentation from BITS-Pilani, India. His research interests are compilers, parallel and distributed computing systems, HPC, heterogeneous computing, and programming languages.
