3rd year PhD student at CEA DAM, defense planned on 19th, September 2018. Research topic during my PhD include multiscale modeling of energetic materials (TATB) mechanical behavior from microscopic to mesoscopic length scales using molecular dynamics simulations and element-free Galerkin technique. On the microscopic scale, research focuses on implementation of both mechanical methods and diagnoses to allow defects identification and direct comparison with continuum models. On the mesoscopic scale, research concentrates on mechanical response on materials under large strain loading at high strain rate. I am currently looking for opportunities in the multiscale modeling of metallic materials at the meso- and continuum scales.
