• Biography

  Zhi Tang is currently a research scientist in Beijing Kingway Technology, a high-tech startup founded at Beijing in 2010. He graduated from MechSE department in UIUC with his PhD degree in 2008. He once worked as a research assistant at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His current research interests include modeling, computational analysis and design of nano- and microelectromechanical systems (NEMS/MEMS), modeling of wide band gap semiconducting materials, numerical methods, algorithms and high performance computing.
