  • Biography
    Dr. Eric Stach received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering from Duke University in 1992. In 1994, he received his M.S. from the University of Washington and in 1998 he received his PhD from the University of Virginia, both in Materials Science and Engineering. He joined Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, CA where he was a Materials Staff Scientist at the National Center for Electron Microscopy, and in 2003 became a Program Leader in the Metals Program, Materials Science Division. Subsequently, he became a Associate, then Full Professor at Purdue within the School of Materials Engineering. In 2010 he moved the Brookhaven National Laboratory to become the Group Leader for the Electron Microscopy Group., a resource for nanoscience and nanotechnology, is supported by the National Science Foundation and other funding agencies.
