The MATLAB code determines the desalted ionic concentration when a droplet with a particular size and contact angle is placed on a pair of electrodes with a particular desalting bias. Droplet desalting can be useful for a number of applications, such as, overcoming screening limited response of charge-based potentiometric sensors, bias mediated DNA denaturation for iso-thermal PCR amplification, and configurable isoelectric protein focusing.
