Biography
Souvik Mahapatra received his
PhD in Electrical Engineering from
IIT Bombay, India, in 1999. He was at Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ,
USA during 2000-2001. Since 2002 he is with the Department of Electrical Engineering,
IIT Bombay, India, and presently holds the position of Professor. His research interests are in the area of characterization, modeling and simulation of
CMOS and Flash memory devices, solar cells, and device reliability. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences, delivered invited talks at leading international conferences in the
USA, Europe and Asia-pacific including at
IEEE IEDM, delivered reliability tutorials at
IEEE IRPS, and acted as a reviewer of several international journals and conferences. He also holds an honorary graduate faculty position at Purdue University,
USA, is a distinguished lecturer of
IEEE EDS, a senior member of the
IEEE and a fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering.
