• Biography

  Janam Jhaveri is an undergraduate senior in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University. Although he was born in India, he grew up in Antwerpen, Belgium.

  At Purdue University, he’s been heavily involved in his fraternity, serving as Director of Technology on the national level and numerous positions on the chapter level. He’s also been an undergraduate TA for a freshman physics course. In addition to that, he’s served as a peer mentor for ENGR 104, a class taught by upperclassmen to help freshman engineering students adjust to college.

  His research interests include nanoelectronics and he’s currently working under Dr. Alejandro H. Strachan on thermoelectric materials. After obtaining a undergraduate degree, Janam hopes to pursue graduate studies in nanotechnology.
