Zuhaib Bashir Sheikh attained his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 2006. His undergraduate research focus was in semiconductor fabrication. He is currently a graduate student in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at U of I. He was working with the Center for Computational Electromagnetics at U of I and finished his masters thesis with Prof. Andreas Cangellaris with focus in signal-integrity. He has been working with the Network for Computational Nanotechonology at U of I since the Fall of 2009. His current interests lie in using Meep based FDTD implementation to solve problems in computational electromagnetics (optics).
