Optical Signal Processing of Broadband Entangled Photons

Over the last few years, our group has been involved in developing novel techniques for controlling the correlations of broadband time-frequency entangled photons (“biphotons”) using classical optical-signal processing techniques. We believe our manipulation schemes will become valuable tools in quantum information systems. In addition to manipulating biphotons, we are now exploring photon pair generation using silicon nitride microring resonators.
