He has earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in the area of “Micro / Nano–Fuel Cell for Portable Applications: A Multi–Fuel Solution” from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India on 04/03/2015. He received the prestigious “Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Human Resource Development Group, Government of India – Senior Research Fellowship (CSIR-SRF)” during his Ph.D. He was recently Nominated for the prestigious ENI Award 2017 aka Nobel Prize for Energy Research. He is having total research experience of 10 years 01 month (total 72 months of nanofabrication of III-V, II-VI, III-N, Si, MEMS devices experience) and teaching experience of 5 years 5 months for undergraduate as well as graduate courses. Also has published 7 international SCI journal publications, 31 international / national conference publications in the fields of Si, GaN, GaAs, spintronics, Micro fuel cell, hybrid green power
generation system, filed 3 U.S. (all published online), 1 PCT (published online), 1 EU (published online) and 5 Indian patents (all published online) in the area of micro / nanofuel cell and applications. Moreover, he has experience in setting up of nanofabrication and characterization facilities at CEN, IIT Bombay, India. He has gained experience handling various nanofabrication and characterization tools. He also worked on projects on fabrication and characterization of magneto-optical spintronics devices, III-V, II-VI, III-N, GaAs, Si, MEMS devices, LEDs, GaAs photodetector, GaAs quantum Dots, IR and UV Schottky sensors, Gas sensors, India’s first GaN HEMT. I’ve gained experience in using Raith 150 Two®, which is integrated with SEM, EBL and GIS modules, he has gained experience in using Double Sided Aligner (Optical Lithography, EVG620). Attracted funding's from various government agencies / industries by writing research proposal during his Ph.D. tenure.
