• Biography

  I am currently working towards my PhD at Collaborative µElectronic Design Excellence Centre (CEDEC), University Sains Malaysia (USM). My areas of interests include Theoretical and Computational Electromagnetics, Nonlinear and Ultrafast Optics, and Integrated Silicon Photonics. I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Master of Engineering with Telecommunications concentration both from NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET), Karachi, Pakistan, in 2006 and 2008, respectively. I, then, served as a lecture at the same university where I taught courses like Electromagnetic Field Theory, Circuits and Systems, and Feedback Control Systems. I was also involved in many volunteer activities during my tenure at the university, and served as the reviving branch counselor of IEEE student branch at NEDUET for two years. I am a member of the IEEE and holds student memberships of the IEEE Photonics Society, SPIE and OSA.
