    BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH FOR YURII lOZOVIK Education: Lebedev Physical Institute, Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Ph.D Institute of Spectroscopy, Academy of Sciences, Troitsk, Moscow region, Professor of Physics, 1986 Appointment: From 1986 to present: Head of Laboratory of Nanostructures, Institute of Spectroscopy, Academy of Sciences, Troitsk, Moscow region, and also Professor, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State Technological University), Dolgoprudny, Moscow region. Honors and Awards: The Russian State Fellowship for Outstanding Scientists, prize for best publication in Russian scientific journals. Fellow member of European Academy of Science. He was co-chairman of Moscow Union of Scientists. Publications: Over 500 publications in scientific journals, cited more than 5000 times, Hirsch index h=33, including 10 reviews and collective monographs devoted to electron properties of nanostructures, graphene, low-dimensional electron systems, excitonic BEC, nanooptics, plasmonics, different aspects of solid state physics, nanotechnology, quantum electrodynamics in a cavity and ultrafast optics. Synergistic Activities: Teaching: Tutor of 35 PhD theses. Lecture courses: Quantum nanostructures, Nanophotonics , Mesoscopics, Solid State Physics, Quantum electrodynamics, etc. Conference Organization: The member of Organizing and International Advisory Committees of different International conferences(15-th, 16-th International Conferences on the Electronic Properties of Two-Dimensional Systems, Int. Conf. on Excitonic coherent systems, Conferences on Physics of Clusters, Int. Conference of strong coupled plasma2011, Nano Giga challenges2011). Member of Editorial Boards of “Solid State Communications”, “International Journal of Applied Chemistry”, “Nanostructures. Mathematical Physics and Modelling”. Participation in Conferences.
