  Chandrabhas Narayana is a Professor of Chemistry and Physics of Materials Unit at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR). He received his M.Sc.Ed and B.Sc.Ed at the University of Mysore in 1986 and 1988. He later earned his Ph.D in physics at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1995 and conducted post doctoral research from 1995-1998 at Cornell University, USA.
