Dr. Asrulnizam bin Abd Manaf received the BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan in 2001. Then, he worked as electrical engineer at Toyo-Memory Technology Sdn. Bhd at Kulim High Tech Park before he further his master degree at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan. He received MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2005. In 2006, he pursued his phd in Keio University, Japan. In 2009, he received Ph.D in engineering from department of Applied Physic and Physico Informatics, School of Fundamental Science and Technology, Keio University Japan. He is member for IEEE Electron Device Society (EDS) and Circuit And System Society (CAS). Since 2009, he joined the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia as a senior lecturer. He was an authored and co-authored 50 international technical journal or conference papers. He is currently supervising 8 Ph.D and 7 M.Sc students. His current research interest includes development of nano/fluidic based sensor,IC design CMOS circuitry,MEMS acoustic sensor for underwater application, Graphene-based transistor, memristor, micro Thermoelectric Generator (microTEG)-based energy harvesting, and micro 3-dimension fabrication technique by using grayscale technology.
