Biography
Since August 2007 Saumitra is a PhD student at Purdue University in Prof. Klimeck’s group. He received his MS degree in May 2007 from University of Cincinnati working with Prof. K.P. Roenker. For his MS thesis work he used the nanowire simulation tool on the nanoHUB extensively. His PhD research revolves around understanding MOS device performance limits at the nanoscale regime. He work includes analysis of strained SiGe/Si and III-V materials.
