• Biography

  Doo Sung Lee is currently a Professor in Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). He received his B.S. degrees from the College of Engineering at Seoul National University in 1978 and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 1981 and 1984. He served as a Director of Functional Polymer Program for 6 years and Polymer Technology Institute for 2 years of Sungkyunkwan University, while he successfully developed a new functionalized block copolymer hydrogels and micelles in biomaterials area with KIST biomedical center, KAIST and Asan medical center for drug and protein delivery. He served as a Dean of College of Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University for 2 years and the Secretary-general of IUPAC-PSK 30 polymer symposium in Korea for 2 years.
