    Jonathan Beever is a Ph.D. student in the Philosophy Department at Purdue University. He took his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Maine in 2003 and worked in academia for several years until beginning at Purdue in 2006. Besides working to organize the Bioethics Seminar Series at Purdue, Jonathan also works as a TA for the Philosophy Department, GA for the Graduate School, and assistant to Dr. Myrdene Anderson in Anthropology. His professional interests are in contemporary continental philosophy and environmental ethics. He’s collaborated on several published projects in multiple fields including philosophy, Honors education, and semiotics. Jonathan works closely with the local community on projects in environmental education and service.
