Biography
Kurtis Cantley received his BSEE with honors from Washington State University in May 2005 with minors in music, math, and physics. He worked two summers and winters in the National Security Internship Program at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory before going to Purdue, where he received his MSEE under Prof. Lundstrom in 2007. His thesis focused on simulation of nanoscale transistors with III-V channel materials. Kurtis is now working on his PhD at UT Dallas with Prof. Eric Vogel, developing nanoelectronic devices that mimic the functions of biological neurons for artificial neural networks.
