Collaboration essential to economic growth achieved through and forums

Mihail Roco, an international leader of nanotechnology development, emphasized the importance of collaboration in nanoscience and engineering to economic growth in an interview with The Korea Herald. He offered and the annual U.S.-Korea Forum on Nanotechnology, held June 4-5 at Hanyang University in Seoul, South Korea, as examples.

Roco is chair of the U.S. National Science and Technology Council subcommittee on Nanoscale Science, Engineering and Technology (NSET), and is senior advisor for nanotechnology at the National Science Foundation. He is also the managing editor of the Journal of Nanoparticle Research.
