Rich Goldman gives an overview of the current state of the semiconductor and EDA (Electronic Design Automation) industry with a special focus on the impact of nanometer scale design on design tools and the economics of the industry.
Rich Goldman is the Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Synopsys and CEO of Synopsys Armenia. His current responsibilities include all interoperability programs and partnering programs with semiconductor vendors, IP providers, and platform vendors. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Synopsys Outreach Foundation. Rich is a guest Professor at the Chinese Academy of Science, and is a Commissioner of the Advanced SOC Design Joint Lab Academic Committee there. He is a trustee of the State Engineering University of Armenia.
