This talk will provide an overview of collaborative activities within the India-US Joint Networked Centre on Nanomaterials for Energy. Numerous examples of fruitful joint research initiated and cultivated by the Joint Centre will be provided, including: - Theory and experiments on nitride-based thermoelectrics - Graphene petal arrays for composites, batteries, and solar energy - Thermal and electrical interfaces - Granular mechanics for enhancing predictive models of electrochemical storage - Boron/ nitrogen modification of graphene for thermal energy storage - Water purification and medical diagnostics The talk will close with thoughts on lessons learned and future prospects.
