    Hi. I’m just now trying to understand quantum transport and its relevant mathematical tools. I heard from one of the guys saying that unlike DFT, NEGF does not have a minimization principle. If that is the case, how do you apply minimization through FEM for the NEGF formulation. I don’t understand this issue. It will be great if some one can clarify on the same
