Abstract

This is the third contribution from the students in the University of Texas at El Paso Molecular Electronics course given in the fall of 2006.

This PowerPoint presentation describes a brief history of how the transistor was developed, how a transistor works and its possible applications. It is at the high school level.

Bio

Víctor Hugo Estrada Rivera is doing his graduate studies in chemistry at UTEP, while also working as a material engineer at Delphi Automotive Inc. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez in 2003.

Victor has also taught high school chemistry in Juárez.
