Abstract

This lab is designed to help students understand the size of nanoparticles compared to the size of other known quantities, such as a human being or a skin cell. After the size of nanoparticles is understood, the students will be challenged to come up with a way to “save” nanoparticles from being polluted by larger objects. Their design will be presented in the form of a comic strip.
