Objective

Bring together leading groups in this field to discuss status and key challenges in molecular electronics. Both experimental and theoretical/modeling efforts will be discussed.

Format

  1. Tutorials -- 45 minute overview talk summarizing current state of the art. Tutorials from this work shop are online and can be found below.
  2. Technical Sessions -- Each session is divided into two parts:
    • Part 1 is intended to provide an overview of key challenges. It will typically consist of 3 talks. Each talk is 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. Each speaker is asked to highlight key challenges within a specific topical area. Ideally, the speaker would comment on major developments by other groups, in addition to presenting recent work by his/her own group.
    • Part 2 (nominally 10 minutes per presenter) consists of a series of short presentations, with the general aim of highlighting key accomplishments to date (presumably focused on the work of the presenter).

Organizers
