Abstract
This presentation introduce some basic but fundamental concepts related to optical imaging: Electrical Magnetic Field, Frequency Domain, Measurable Quantities and the Uncertainty Principle. These notes will be used in the introductory classes of the course ECE 460 - Optical Imaging at UIUC.
