This chapter presents Geometrical Optics and also Fourier Optics, two important topics that precede Microscopy. Some of the covered concepts are: Fermat's Principle, Snell's Law, Thick and Thin Lens, System of Lens,Fraunhofer Approximation and Huygens-Fresnel principle.
