| Abstract | This document provides useful information about Band Structure Lab. First-time users will find basic ideas about the physics behind the tool such as band formation, the Hamiltonian description, and other aspects. Additionally, we provide explanations of the input settings and the results of the simulations. Finally, this document gives users the chance to examine case studies performed using the tool. Information offered in this document encourages users to perform more simulations in order to understand how the tool works, in addition to providing the physical aspects of band structures. Please feel free to provide suggestions, changes, and notifications of bugs in the document. We will do our best to respond promptly. |
