Abstract nanoHUB.org is a community web site that offers “online simulation and more” services to over 90,000 users annually free of charge. Over 150 simulation tools are available and over 1,600 other content items ranging from research seminars to complete nanotechnology classes are hosted on the nanoHUB. At this we believe that there is no other scientific gateway which hosts as many content items to as many users. This presentation provides a brief overview of the nanoHUB capabilites, compares it to static web page delivery, highlights its technology basis, and provides a vision for future cyberinfrastructures in a system of federated HUBs powered by the HUBzero.org infrastructure.
