Abstract
This tool allows the user to apply the Minority Carrier Diffusion Equation (MCDE) to model excess carrier concentration as a function of time or distance. The tool includes modules that guide the user through the problem solving process. These modules include general solutions to the MCDE, a guide on how to eliminate MCDE terms, and the ability to select boundary conditions and input variables. The output of the simulation include the MCDE solution and a graph of the results. The graph models the excess concentration as a function of time or distance, depending on the input choices.
