Abstract
The objective of the Multimeter tool is to understand the correct procedure for measuring voltage (V) and current (I), and to observe the dependence between the interchange of the leads and the sign of the numerical reading. The tool allows the user to practice connecting the voltmeter in different locations to measure either the voltage or current in a circuit. If the measurement connection is incorrect, a warning message is displayed. Examine how reversing the leads at each connection affects the sign of the numerical reading.
