Very useful for understanding how each parameter affects the AFM characterization spider solitaire 2 suit of various samples. Understanding AFM concepts is very beneficial.
"I hope nanoHUB keeps this tool around for a very long time because Madalin Stunt Cars I plan to use it in my thesis work" using it for thesis was a right decision.
Simulations tools like VEDA give experimentalist and graduate students a better understanding of AFM operation. The quantitative information that this tool provide gives initial intuitions and insight of fails without having to spend hours trying to figure out what happens.
There is so much information stored within this tool! It really helps to visualize the response of changing one or more parameters without having to run multiple experiments.
The Fall 2009 semester was the first time ME 597 (Fundamentals of AFM) was taught, and I took this class. The VEDA tool, on nanoHUB, was an excellent resource for \“driving home\” many of the concepts presented during lecture, especially when we got into the different modes of AFM operation. I hope nanoHUB keeps this tool around for a very long time because I plan to use it in my thesis work
