Through usage pattern identification and IP lookup we should improve the user experience and engagement on nanoHUB.
We can:
- students that seem to expose a certain class usage pattern - like freshmen chemistry at northwestern - highlight corresponding teaching items on the nanoHUB. As featured items
- users coming in from a certain location should see maybe a quote from someone they "know" at their location.
- users that are exposing a research behavior pattern should see a featured nanoHUB publication/citation and be encouraged to submit their own publication, so we do not have to hunt it down through google.
