I'm using the type "download resource" to provide an entire program (to difficult/time consuming to provide it as a tool). There have been and hopefully will be updates to this software, which may be rather important. I would like my users to be able to subscribe to this resource and be automatically notified upon updates. How the notification should be carried out is up to you, but a nanoHUB message may be suitable.
