Not done, Chris C. was working on it before he took leave. The question is do we spend cycles on this or something else based on the impact that might or might not result.

If this conversion can be set up as a well-defined, almost clerical task, then let’s hire another hourly student to come in at odd times and keep the computers busy doing the conversion.
We must develop a plan for conversion to new video formats generally. If Joe will develop a personnel and equipment budget, I will find a way to fund it.

The task is not the conversion. That is relatively straight forward. The problem with this old content is that it is streamed. We spent some time and a number of emails when I had this task of conversion in Chris C’s job queue. Again how much effort do we want to spend for 20 or so resources. Will the availabilty of these old resources as mp4’s bring us any new users?
