spatial mesh appears not well resolved

Even in the default case, it appears that the spatial mesh is not well resolved. Physical quantities vary significantly, but not enough numerical nodes are placed where they are needed.

Can the meshing be improved?

    Meshing can be improved by placing more nodes near the junction and removing unwanted nodes from the bulk.This should not shoot up compute time also.
