Stop running and no output
When I use “Remote Parellel DDSCAT with Wavelength“option to run simulation, program will stop running simulate after 3-5 hours and create no output. Why could this happen?

More information is needed to determine what the issue is. If you can, please provide either an input or an output log from DDSCAT. Otherwise, feel free to try the possible solutions listed below.
Some possible solutions:
1.) Are you using Periodic Boundary Conditions? At the moment, PBC does not work with remote simulations and will only run locally. We will fix this issue as soon as we can. Since Local and Remote modes run slightly differently, it is always a good idea to try the other mode to see if it will run properly.
2.) On the ‘Process’ page 4 did you enter in a time limit more than 5 hours? If the time limit is reached, then the simulation is not actually complete as it has been terminated early. Near the bottom of the ‘Output Log’ you will find a message saying “forrtl: error (78) : process killed (SIGTERM)”

DDSCAT now has better error generation and should give you a more clear error message. Please, try again using the latest version if this hasn't been resolved.
