Using Workspace with a non-US keyboard on a Mac

Hi Workspace developers,

Thank you for your great tool!

I am having some trouble using Workspace from a Mac with a non-US (in my case Danish) keyboard.  The symbols that require pressing Alt together with a key do not work, that makes it impossible to type things like | [ ] { } and similar, making programming (and using Linux) a bit more challenging :)

A workaround seems to be to switch my Mac to a US keyboard layout.  But then I have to guess where all the symbols are, since most are in a different place.  Furthermore, caps lock does not work, neither with Danish nor US keyboard layout.  I know these keyboard issues may be difficult to fix, VirtualBox for example has not got it right yet.

Best regards

Jakob

On macOS, you can customize your keys and layout in System Preferences. Go to "System Settings" - "Keyboard" - "Text Input". Click "Change keyboard layout" and select the one you want. Make sure "Use Alt key to select second-level character" is enabled to use Alt to enter []{} and other characters. There are a lot of problems with MacBooks, I recently came across how to fix startup disk full problem, I found  https://setapp.com/how-to/fix-startup-disk-full-problem for this. Problems will always appear. You think that you know everything about your device, but this is far from the case.
